Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) —  May 11th 2019

REGISTER HERE

It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to provide opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. CAF believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life.

Join other San Diego Yalies when we partner with CAF to help with some campus beautification projects (spreading rocks in planting areas, washing windows, etc.) at their San Diego headquarters. Their facility showcases the mission of the foundation, honors athletes and their accomplishments, and serves as the location for educational programs, free adaptive classes and community education events. In addition to working on the outside of the building, we will also be offered a tour of the facility including their adaptive training center, watch an inspirational video of lives changed by CAF, and hear from one of their athletes in person.
