Professor Crews, the Lewis B. Cullman Professor of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Professor of Chemistry; Executive Director, Yale Center for Molecular Discovery will be visiting San Diego for a BioTech presentation.
Professor Crews has set aside some time prior to his presentation to meet and have brunch with Yalies interested in this fascinating topic of chemical biology.

You will be introduced to and taste a total of 12 different cheeses and 6 different wines (with the focus being on selecting wines to match up with cheeses). Proprietor Rob Graff is outstandingly knowledgable on anything to do with cheeses and will be able to answer any question you have on where the cheeses come from, what type of animal produced the milk, and how the milk is converted into the cheese you taste.

Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate to local San Diego foster youth served by Promises2Kids.org.
The appetizer menu this year will be paired with an extensive range of craft beers and Happy Hour drink specials. The full menu will be available for you to order additional items as well. We ask for a donation to cover the costs of the venue and the initial appetizers. Drinks and extra food may be ordered individually by guests. There is ample parking at the Mall. Smokeyard is located closer to the newer parking structure in the back next to the Macy’s.

The MIT Club of San Diego would like to invite our IvyPlus friends to join us for a winter sports weekend at Mammoth, Friday, February 8 to Sunday, February 10. This has been a very popular event for the MIT Club of Southern California and its IvyPlus partners and is now expanding with a second bus for the San Diego clubs.
This is a fun-filled weekend of snow sports at Mammoth Mountainwith alums and friends from all the top schools. All skill levels – from absolute beginner to advanced – are welcome, but this is an adults-only trip.
Last year’s group included downhill skiers, cross country skiers, snowboarders, and snowshoers; 26 women and 22 men from 15 schools.

The event includes:
- Deluxe coach bus for the ride to and from Mammoth Mountain
- Two nights at St. Anton Condominiums, close to the Canyon Lodgeand lifts.
- Welcome pizza party on Friday at the condos
- Bus ride into town for Saturday night dinner and entertainment.
- We will return on Sunday after the lifts close at 4:00pm. There will be a stop in town for everyone to pick up food on their own for the ride back.
- Note that lift tickets and equipment rentals are not included.
