The magnificent sets and costumes evoke Renaissance Italy and Sergei Prokofiev’s lush score brings this classic love story thrillingly to life.

RECURRING EVENTS

There are four standing fellowship events that the Yale Club of San Diego hosts every year. We hope you will attend one or more of these events with us.

Feb Club Emeritus

In 2007, an intrepid group of Yale alums, bemoaning the dismal February weather in their corner of the globe, resurrected an undergraduate tradition of dubious origin and initiated a group of casual get-togethers in various cities each night of the year’s coldest month. Since then, thousands of alums in over 100 cities around the planet have celebrated FebClub Emeritus. Feb Club is nothing more than an excuse for alums of all ages to get together and meet old friends and make new ones in a casual, pressure-free setting – with no speeches, no fundraising, no anything remotely official. Find out more information about Feb Club at www.febclubemeritus.com. See you in February!

YCSD Annual Dinner

Every year, all Yalies in the San Diego area are invited to attend our annual dinner. At this event, the YCSD hosts a speaker to inform and inspire the Yale community at large and conducts the vote on the new slate of board directors. Please contact yaleclubofsandiego@gmail.com for more information on how you can participate or if you have a speaker you would like to suggest.

Fall Mixer

All Yale alumni living in or visiting San Diego are invited to join the YCSD for our annual Fall Mixer. Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet and chat with other alumni in San Diego!

Refreshments will be served. There is no cost to attend.

Yale Harvard Footyball

The Game

Bulldog! Bulldog! Bow Wow Wow! Eli Yale!!!

Join fellow bulldogs to cheer on our boys in Blue! This event is usually held at a bar or restaurant where the game will be telecast. There is no cost to attend and a brunch or breakfast menu is usually available.

Yale Fight Song

AYA Assembly – Oct. 14, 2013

In 2013, the first planned city in America celebrated its 375th anniversary. Although it has been Yale’s home for three centuries, New Haven has remained largely unknown to many alumni, especially those who were students during the ’70s–’90s when it went through the same kind of decline many U.S. cities were suffering then. But recent students have been able to witness the urban area’s astonishing renaissance, and the goal of Assembly LXXIII (Nov. 21–23, 2013) was to let alumni experience this reality for themselves.

Yale at Cal Poly – Oct. 5, 2013

The Mustangs will be playing an Ivy League school for the first time while the Bulldogs will be making their third trip to California in the 137-year history of the Yale football program, following trips to the University of San Diego in 1999 and 2005.

Fall Mixer – Sept. 23, 2012

It was a pleasure to see so many of you at the Wollaeger’s (’66) beautiful home in La Jolla for our Annual Fall Mixer on September 22. It was a warm and sunny day for networking and reconnecting with friends, new and old. Thank you Tim and Cindy for, once again, making it a special day for us all! Thanks too to those of you who contributed to our Feeding America campaign.
