Born in San Diego into a Navy family, Megan spent 12 years in San Diego County, 3 in Japan, and 3 in Wisconsin before heading to New Haven. Then, after graduating in 1993 with a degree in history, and 10 years living and working in the Bay Area in high-tech marketing, advertising and event management, Megan moved back home to San Diego to raise her own family. She is now a substitute teacher in the Poway Unified School District and the Program Director of the non-profit Savvy Giving by Design which redesigns residential spaces for children suffering medical crises at no cost to the families. She and her husband, Jay, have three college-aged daughters of whom they are exceptionally proud. Megan previously served as the Yale Day of Service Chair (6 years), the Technology/Website Chair (2021-current), and the Interim President (2024). She was also a Pierson College Captain for her 30th Reunion and the host of the Covid-era PC93 biweekly zoom call.

After more than 10 years in San Diego, Shelby is proud to call herself a California Girl. It also helps that one of her Y150 teammates, who is originally from California, recently called her such! After graduating Yale Divinity School in 2007 Shelby dedicated herself to the service of others as a Spiritual Care provider. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings from Trauma Units to Pediatric Intensive Care, and is most recently active in the hospice industry. At The Elizabeth Hospice Shelby is the Spiritual Care Specialist and a public speaker sharing information about end-of-life care, cultural diversity, spirituality, and more, in the community at conferences, workshops, and universities and colleges. While at Yale Shelby served on the FCC, YCC, Co-Chaired the Winter Ball, was active in The Yale Film Society and was a coxswain for 4 years on the Yale Men’s Lightweight Crew Team. Since 2011, she has served YCSD as the Outreach and Social Media Chair and most recently as the President.

Regina graduated from Yale with a degree in economics and political science. Raised in Connecticut, she happily relocated to the West Coast to pursue a legal career, first in San Diego, then several years in the Bay Area. After realizing it doesn't get better than 70 degrees and sunny, she returned to San Diego with her family in 2008. Formerly a corporate attorney, she now teaches in the paralegal studies program at the University of San Diego.

Burr majored in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Studies. Building on his degree from Yale and his background in the law, Burr helped found VoLo Earth Ventures, a climate tech venture capital firm. Burr loves living in San Diego, where he and his wife are raising their three children.

Mike and his family relocated to San Diego in 2011 and could not be happier to be here. His appreciation for Yale and many aspects of the Northeast never included New Haven’s weather. Prior to moving, he worked in investment management in New York. Mike spends his days here focused on family and community.
