In Conversation

Join the Yale Club of San Diego In Conversation with Benjamin Bernard (YC11), a postdoctoral associate in Yale University’s Department of History. In addition to teaching at Yale, Bernard is also a member of President McInnis’s faculty Committee on Trust in Higher Education, whose recent report on public confidence in colleges and universities helps inform current efforts to rebuild trust. Bernard will explore a tension at the heart of universities: that they are indispensable producers of knowledge yet always vulnerable to skepticism. The discussion offers a historically grounded approach to understanding today’s debates about trust, legitimacy, and the future of the university.

THE SPEAKER IS UNABLE TO TRAVEL AT THIS TIME.
