Membership Levels

Anyone associated with Yale - be they student, alumni, parent, faculty, or friend - is already a "member" of the Yale family and so a member of the Yale Club of San Diego. And we welcome you to join us at any and all of our events! 

Contributing to the Yale Club of San Diego is an easy way to maintain the unique sense of community you experienced while at Yale. Beginning with current students at the low, low price of absolutely FREE right on up to our Nathan Hale Patrons, we have Contributing Membership levels for every stage and budget. 

**New Benefit for the Top Tiers**

A VIP Pass to all YCSD-hosted events for our Nathan Hale Patrons. We will provide a unique discount code that will waive the event fee for any YCSD-hosted events throughout the year, such as our In Conversation series, Feb Club, or the Summer Send-off. *Please note that events hosted by other groups but publicized by the YCSD may have their own fees (e.g. a cappella concerts or museum tours) and are not included in this offer.

In addition, we will host an exclusive, complimentary thank-you dinner for Nathan Hale Patrons and Eli Yale Patrons.

Your contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by state & federal laws (please discuss with a tax professional). Our Contributing Membership year runs from January 1 through December 31.

• Your contribution assures continued contact with all members through the website, frequent emails, and occasionally traditional direct mail. 
• Contributing members allow us to host the Annual Mixer at no charge and permit us to invite matriculating students to attend our summer send-off at no cost.
• We support the annual reception for admitted students held prior to the May 1 decision date.
• We support outstanding students in over 20 San Diego high schools with our Book Award program and reception for promising juniors.
• We plan and conduct San Diego’s Yale Day of Service each May.
• Your contributions have enabled us to maintain our website.
• Your contributions allow us to give financial aid to both of our YAA Assembly representatives to underwrite some of the expenses incurred to represent YCSD in New Haven each November.
• Your contributing membership dues give us the support we need to host fun, enriching and classy events for you and your family.
